Work to improve WIS 55 between School Road and Langlade County T is currently scheduled to begin Monday, August 22.
Northeast Asphalt, Inc. is the prime contractor for the $1.46 million project. Crews will resurface the roadway, replace four culverts, and install centerline rumble strips.
During construction motorists can expect to encounter daytime, single lane closures and flagging operations.
All work is scheduled for completion in late October 2016.
One hundred percent of the project will be paid with state transportation funds.
