Gwendolyn J. Bricco, 82

Gwendolyn J. Bricco, of Polar, died Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center. She was 82 years old. She was born on November 9, 1933 in the Town of Kronenwetter, a daughter of the late Harold and Clara (Grosinske) Gleason. She married Kenneth Staude on October 23, 1954. He preceded her in death on May 11, 1967. She married DeLou Bricco on April 6, 1968 in Kenosha. He survives.

Gwen graduated from Wausau Senior High in 1951. She was employed at American Motors Corporation/Chrysler in Kenosha for 32 years. Following her retirement she loved to travel and in 1989 moved to Polar.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Polar and the American Motor Corporation (AMC) Five Year Club.

Gwen was an avid reader and enjoyed dancing to Big Band and Polka music. She also played the organ and accordion.

In addition to her husband survivors include three daughters, Paula (Neal) (nee Staude) Brimhall of Moreno Valley, Calif., Anita (Kenneth) Blumenschein of Pleasant Prairie, Joanne (Jeffrey) Barnes of Pleasant Prairie; son, David (Irene) Bricco of Eagle River; seven grandchildren, Jessica and Jonathan Brimhall, Adam (Ashlee) and Allyn Bricco, Elizabeth (Jeffrey) Jacka, Jennifer Hallgren, Robert (Amber) Barnes, Steven and Melissa Barnes; two great-grandchildren, Addison and Calvin Barnes.

She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Kenneth Staude.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 17 at 11 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with her son-in-law, Pastor Neal Brimhall officiating. Burial will take place in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Polar. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
