Ronald Leo Kuchenbecker, 70
Ron was born in Appleton on November 16, 1945 to the late Leo William and Marion Isabelle (Kuse) Kuchenbecker.
On July 1, 1967 Ron married Karen Balthazor, she preceded him in death on May 23, 2002. Ron married Ida Windsor on August 26, 2005.
Ron was a graduate of Appleton West High school class of 1964. He lived and raised his family in Appleton during which time he was employed as a mechanic for Kolosso Toyota. After many years of vacationing in the Wabeno area, which he thoroughly enjoyed, Ron moved there and became employed at Conwald Lumber until his retirement in 2005. Ron and Ida moved to Antigo in 2012.
Ron loved building and flying model airplanes, fly fishing, cutting wood, and decorating his home for Christmas for all to enjoy.
He was an active member of Antigo Community Church, where he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was confident in his salvation. His service to the Lord consisted of caring for the church grounds and helping wherever needed.
Ron is survived by his wife Ida, a daughter Nancy (Lance) Stroud of Menasha, a son Jeff (Jessica) Kuchenbecker of Neenah, a stepson, Larry Haynes of Antigo, 4 grandchildren Chris DeShaney of Holland Town, Courtney DeShaney of Menasha, Leland Haynes of Antigo, Emma Faye Kuchenbecker of Neenah, 2 sisters, Bonnie (Kathy) Rowe and Sue (Mert) Olson both of Appleton, 2 brothers, Don Kuchenbecker (Al Duval) of Two Rivers, Tom (Linda) Kuchenbecker of Stevens Point, 2 sisters-in-law, Judith (Frank) Schrenk of Texas, Jeanette (Roger) Dunigan of Traverse City, MI, 4 brothers-in-law, Thomas (Kathy) Windsor of Radcliff, KY, Cal (Peggy) Balthazor of Colorado, Rodney (Nancy) Balthazor of Appleton, Jerry (the late Marlene) Lyons of Appleton, many nieces and nephews, a former son-in-law, Chuck DeShaney of Holland Town, and dear friends, the Twardowski family of Wabeno.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Antigo Community Church. Reverend Larry Schwarck, Reverend Kellen Lewis and Reverend Roger Shaw will officiate. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Antigo Community Church and on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
Ron, Ida and family extends a very special thank you to Antigo Community Church family.
