WIS 55 improvements in Langlade County scheduled to begin next week
Work to improve WIS 55 between Langlade County T and the north Langlade County line is currently scheduled to begin Monday, September 19.
Northeast Asphalt, Inc. is the prime contractor for the $926,000 project. Crews will resurface the roadway, extend two culverts, replace three culverts, and install centerline rumble strips.
During construction motorists can expect to encounter single lane closures and flagging operations.
All work is scheduled for completion in early November 2016.
One hundred percent of the project will be paid with state transportation funds.
