Roman Zblewski, 87
Roman Zblewski, 87, Birnamwood, formerly of Hatley, died on Monday, October 24, 2016 at Cloverleaf Terrace, Birnamwood under the care of LeRoyer Hospice.
He was born on May 5, 1929 in Amherst, the son of the late Roman and Martha (Maeger) Zblewski.
On October 13, 1952, Roman was united in marriage to Dolores Kurszewski at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Bevent. She survives.
Roman was a self employed farmer for many years. He was an avid baseball player and was a Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewer fan. Roman enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards. Survivors include his wife, Dolores, Birnamwood; children, Daryl (Patti) Zblewski, Eland, Cheryl (Jon) Giguere, West DePere, Keith (Darci) Zblewski, Rochester, MN and Dean (Kathy) Zblewski, Hatley; daughter-in-law, Janice Zblewski, Gurnee, IL; sister, Elsie Hytry, Stevens Point; grandchildren, Sara (Joe) Leonard, Caleb (Cassie) Zblewski, Lindsey (Erik) Escobar, Justin (fiance Abby) Giguere, Matthew Giguere, Zachary and Stephanie Zblewski, Nick Zblewski, Haley and Chelsea Zblewski, Alissa (sp. friend Eric) Zblewski, Payton (sp. friend Dilon) Zblewski and Calvin Zblewski; four great-grandchildren, Emilee and Lily Leonard, Carson Zblewski and Erik Tommy Escobar.
Roman was preceded in death by his parents; a son Mark; four sisters and seven brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1PM on Friday, October 28, 2016 at St. Florian’s Catholic Church, Hatley. Fr. Gregory Bohren will officiate. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 10AM until the time of Mass at the church.

The family wishes to the staff and friends of Cloverleaf Terrace for the care given to Roman and Dolores as well as Dr. Strong, the Birnamwood Clinic staff and LeRoyer Hospice, Diane, Sam and Sue.
