Rose Inez Klawitter, 67
Rose Inez Klawitter, 67, Wittenberg, died Thursday, October 6, 2016 at her home under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
She was born on May 17, 1949 in Wittenberg, the daughter of the late Milton and Lillian (Raaen) Foth. Rose graduated from Wittenberg High School in 1967. She then worked for the Wittenberg School District, Ripon College, Marion Plywood, and later for the North Star Casino.
In 1973, Rose was united in marriage to Clifford Klawitter. They spent most of their married years in Wittenberg, where together they managed their bowling alley refinishing business. Rose especially loved feeding the birds, taking care of her plants and being surrounded by the trees in her yard. Over the years, Rose had taken in many cats and considered them her beloved feline family.
Rose is survived by four step-children, Michael, Terry, Kevin and Sue; a sister, Charlotte Foth; nieces, JoAnne Warzynski and Julie (Bill) Neubert and one nephew, Tom (Stacey) Schrank. She is also survived by a special friend, Bob Reiter and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Rose was preceded in death by her sister, Joanne and niece, Dawn.
Per Rose’s request, there will be no funeral services. Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg is assisting the family with arrangements.
