For the Antigo Times

New rodeo stars will be born during the wild and crazy “Dairyland Donkey Basketball Show” at Antigo Middle School on November 5th starting at 7 PM. It is basketball played on real, live donkeys and it will be wilder than a rodeo and funnier than a circus. Teams include FFA, SADD, Student Council and a School and Community Team. Come on out and see someone you know try to ride a donkey and play basketball at the same time. It’s a thrill a minute, a spill a minute. Laugh as you’ve never laughed before at the wild and crazy donkey basketball show. Festivities include a free-throw contest at 6:30 and free donkey rides for the first 125 children in between games.

This fun-filled show is sponsored by Antigo FFA, Brickner’s of Antigo and Insight FS. All of the proceeds will benefit not only Antigo FFA but also the Weekend Backpack Program, which provides a backpack of food for underprivileged students to take home for the weekend. Advance tickets are $7 and can be purchased from members of the sponsoring organization, CoVantage Credit Union, or contacting Mr. Kohn at Antigo High School ([email protected] or 715-623-7611 ext. 2162). Tickets are also available the day of the event for $10.
