For the Antigo Times

Hydratight celebrated the official grand opening and dedication of their building addition this past Tuesday at their location on Clermont Street in Antigo.

In the spring of 2016, a 16,500 square foot addition was constructed on the north side of the existing building that brought 15 jobs to the community. This new addition has been dedicated to Andy Bertsch, a long time Hydratight employee whose influence and impact was felt by everyone he worked with.

Andy started with Sweeney while it was located in Denver, Colo. and moved with the company when it came to Antigo. As the company grew, Andy continued to be a vital and incredibly influential part of the Hydratight culture. His wife Cynthia and their youngest daughter Callie were on hand to join in the celebration of a project that meant so much to Andy.

Hydratight global finance leader Chad DeLuka was also in attendance to support the dedication efforts and to reinforce their workers and the community as a whole. A plaque in Andy’s memory is prominently mounted in the new area of the shop.
