On Saturday, October 15th, North Star Lanes in Antigo presented the Chuckles for Charity event, featuring three comedy acts including the local talents of Brady Gregurich. The admission costs and 50/50 proceeds from the show benefitted two charities – the Langlade County Humane Society and the MACC Fund (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer).

The latter charity was chosen to honor Brady’s niece Jayden, who passed away from brain cancer in 2009. The three featured comedians were Andrew McKenzie from Madison, Brady Gregurich from Antigo and nationally-recognized comedian Frank Roche, with host Dave Steger Jr.

“All told, we raised a total of $2110.44, which was split between the two charities,” Gregurich said. “A huge thank you to everyone who made the event possible, including Stephanie, Keshia, North Star Lanes and their entire wonderful staff, [along with] Dave Steger Jr., the other comedians, Tim and Maureen Gregurich, and Clint and Steph Powell for the amazing music and stage set up.

“And the biggest thank you to everyone who attended the show to make it a great success. Your support has truly been humbling and inspiring. Here’s to making Chuckles for Charity an annual event. Thank you,” Gregurich added.
