Allen Emil Bierman, 80
Allen Emil Bierman, of Bryant, died Thursday, December 15, 2016 at his home. He was 80 years old. He was born on October 7, 1936 in Town of Almon, a son of the late Charles and Leovona (Baker) Bierman. He married Mary Wickersheim on December 15, 1962 at Four Corners Assembly of God, White Lake.
He served in the United States Army from 1955 to 1957, having been stationed in Germany. Allen was a logger for many years until his retirement in 2007.
He was a member of Four Corners Assembly of God Church in White Lake.
Allen enjoyed watching the Milwaukee Brewers, Green Bay Packers and Western movies. He loved playing the harmonica, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife of 54 years, Mary, survivors include three sons, Todd Bierman of Bowler, Rodney Bierman of Bowler, Dean Bierman of Bryant; a daughter, Barb Beckingham of Bryant; nine grandchildren, Amber (TJ) Ganzel, Ashley (Matt) Johnson, Zach (Audra) Bierman, Tara Bierman, Tyler Bierman, Whitney (Brandon) Tegen, Brittany Beckingham, Mackenzie Beckingham, Lexy Beckingham; four great-grandchildren, Matthew Johnson, Destinee and Isabella Bierman, Colton Ganzel.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Lee Bierman; six sisters, Margaret, Mildred, Ida, Marcedis, Shirley, Myrtle; five brother, Leo, Carl, Victor, Russell, Ervin.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 21 at 11 a.m. at Four Corners Assembly of God, White Lake with Rev. Marvin Kindle officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 20 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. White Lake veterans will conduct military honors at the church following the service. Burial will take place in the Spring at Elton Cemetery.
