Earl G. Dobrinska, 91
Earl G. Dobrinska, of Milwaukee, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the age of 91. He was born on November 28, 1925 in Antigo, a son of the late Anton and Helen (Naumann) Dobrinska. He married Beverly Pyatt on February 18, 1950 in Antigo. She preceded him in death on March 5, 2006.
Enlisting at the age of 17, Earl achieved the rank of Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps honorably serving in the Pacific Campaign (Dec. 1942 – Nov. 1945) during WWII. He received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
After service he moved to Milwaukee where he worked for American Motors for 7 years and then Construction for 20 years. He retired from the Milwaukee Public School recreation division.
Survivors include a daughter, Cora (Mike Cragoe) Dobrinska of Greendale; four sons, Bruce (Patricia) Dobrinska of Greenfield, Lloyd (Deborah) Dobrinska of Greenfield, Glenn (Carol) Dobrinska of Deerbrook, Tony (Karen Vanderhoven) Dobrinska of Green Bay; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joy Carter.
In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Kapusta; and four brothers, Harvey, Robert, Donald and Larry.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 10 at 9:45 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home. Burial will take place in the Kempster Cemetery where White Lake veterans will conduct military honors. Visitation will be Friday, December 9 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. all at the funeral home
