Thanks to Terry Creekmore and Lakeside Market, four families that have fallen on hard times will be able to celebrate the holiday season with its most iconic staple – a Christmas tree.

“I was working at the Antigo Community Food Pantry last week and I overheard some people saying how they wouldn’t be able to have a tree for Christmas. After talking to and matching costs with Lakeside, we’ll be able to give some people a chance,” Creekmore said.

Creekmore took it upon himself to get in contact with Lakeside Market, where manager Rick Hurlbert and his staff were able to accommodate and match the donation offer for the pantry.

The four trees were donated to the food pantry yesterday from the stock of Christmas firs that Lakeside has to offer.
