Phillip Breton Maddix, 70
Phillip Breton Maddix, of Bryant, died Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Aspirus Langlade Hospital with his family at his side. He was 70 years old. He was born on January 12, 1946 in White Lake, a son of Harriet (Rosio) Maddix of Antigo and the late Woodrow Maddix. He was united in marriage to Diane Lundt on August 20, 1966 at Pentecostal Lighthouse Church in Elton. She survives.
Phil enjoyed fishing and gardening.
He was a logger for many years.
He also enjoyed spending time with his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors including his wife and mother are four daughters, Dawn (Ray) Rosenow, Shawano, Roxanne Maddix and special friend Scott LeNoble, Marion, Danise (Rick) Thiel, Antigo, Angelica (Ron) Berndt, Wausau; a son, Phillip J Maddix, Wausau; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sharon Menting, Antigo, Patricia (Sam) Zaverousky, Antigo, Wendy (Ernie) DeClark, White Lake; two brothers, Rob (Thresa) Maddix, South Dakota, James Maddix, Birnamwood; a sister-in-law, Carol Maddix, Bryant.
He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers, Woodrow Jr. and Gary Maddix; a sister, Barbara Maddix.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 10, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Apostolic Worship Center, Elton with Rev. Ward Rhebein officiating.
Visitation will be Saturday from 12 p.m. until the time of services at the church.
