Antigo High School

aow_cornelius1Nevin Cornelius – Varsity Boys Basketball

“Nevin is a freshman on the boy’s basketball varsity team. He does whatever is asked of him during practices and games. Against Tomahawk, Nevin shut down their best player despite giving up six inches in height. He is a hard worker who has embraced his role on the team this year. He definitely earned the honor of Athlete of the Week.” – From Coach Jesse Shaw

aow_wittmann1Milo Wittman – JV Boys Basketball

“Milo continues week in and week out at both practice and in games to work to be as best he can be, both on and off the court. Milo has proven to be competitive but humble. He understands the game well and also listens intently to the coaches and always does as he is asked. Milo has created himself [as] a leader of the team and other players look up to him. His personality makes him a joy to coach. The sky is the limit when it comes to his talent level because of his dedication.” – From Coach Nate Musolff

Antigo Middle School

aow_ebel1Wes Ebel – 7B Boys Basketball

“Wes always practices and plays at 100%. He is a great teammate, and a tough competitor. He always did his best to listen in timeouts and in practice and was very respectful on bus rides.” – From Coach Tim Krueger

Student Athletes of the Week are expected to:
