Play & Learn January 12th 9:30-11am N4013 Hwy. 45, Antigo. Play & Learn is a weekly play group program for parents, caregivers and children from birth to age 5. Staff will provide a parent lesson, an activity for parents and children to do together. The activity will build skills for school readiness and milestone achievement. Quarterly Ages and Stages questionnaires are made available to parents and caregivers to assist families in helping their children to reach age based development milestones. Kelly Lake Snowmobile Club Ice Derby January 14th Held in the heated tent on Kelly Lake, Suring. Ice fishing tournament with prize money for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in 6 fish categories. There will be bacon raffles, bucket raffles, a 50/50 raffle & a drawing for both a boy’s & girl’s bicycle. The club will also be selling food & beverages. 9th Annual Lake Nokomis AMVET Fishing Tournament January 14th 8am-3pm Located at the County Road N boat landing, Lincoln/Oneida County. The tournament hours are 8am-2pm. Local professional photographer, Craig Pilecky is offering three classes to those who wish to learn the elements of beginning photography. Class dates are the following Saturdays: Jan 14th, 21st and 28th in the library’s McGinley Room. This is an introduction to DSLR & Mirrorless Interchangeable Lens Photography.
