Governor Walker seeks applicants for Sheriff of Langlade County

Madison, WI – Governor Scott Walker announced today he is seeking applicants for appointment as sheriff in Langlade County.

The appointment will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Sheriff William Greening. The new sheriff will begin serving immediately and will complete a term ending January 7, 2019.

An applicant is not required to reside in Langlade County at the time the appointment becomes effective.

If you are interested in applying for the position, please submit the following:

(On the right side, hover over “Contact” “Apply to Serve” and then click on the “Boards and Commissions tab).

Applicants should outline in their cover letters what professional and academic experiences qualify them to be sheriff and describe their civic activities and community involvement.
