Letter to the Editor: Request for Information About Historic “Library School” by Dorothy Neumann
By Dorothy Neumann
Dear Editor,
My ancestor, Rosette Reese, attended “library school” for 1 year in Antigo, WI some time around 1917-1918. The Langlade County Historical Society has records of graduates from the Langlade County Normal School back that far, but have nothing about a library school.
If any residents of the Antigo area remember grandparents or great-grandparents talking about the library school, please contact me.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Mrs. Neumann contacted me this past week inquiring about the information mentioned in her letter below. After referencing some of the historical materials I’ve used in the past, including Robert Dessureau’s “History of Langlade County, Wisconsin,” I was unable to find any information about the “library school” she mentions. As requested, if anyone has any information for Mrs. Neumann, please contact either her or myself. Thank you.
