UPDATED: Press release from Marathon County concerning Langlade HR director investigation

From the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office

For the Antigo Times

On December 1, 2016 the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office received a request from Langlade County Sheriff Bill Greening to conduct an internal investigation into a former Langlade County Human Resources Director for misconduct in office.

The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office’s investigation continued until January 3, 2017.  At that time, Langlade County Interim Sheriff John Schunke requested the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office involvement in this matter can be concluded.

An informational report regarding the investigation will be turned over to Interim Sheriff John Schunke upon its completion.

No further information will be released by this office, at this time.
