For the Antigo Times

David Schindler, the husband of Elcho UCC Pastor Dana Schindler, President of the Elcho Area Community Food Pantry and Finance Officer for the Elcho American Legion Post, will get his head and face shaved on March 12 in Green Bay to raise funds and awareness for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation for Pediatric Cancer Research. The last time that he had a haircut was October 2013 when he had his head shaved at a St. Baldrick’s event in St. Louis in memory of his mother and his mother-in-law.

Mr. Schindler has set a goal to raise $1,000.00 for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, and is looking for sponsors from the local community, Donations can be made online in his name at https://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/DaveShave or by check made payable to St. Baldrick’s can be mailed directly to Mr. Schindler at PO Box 126, Elcho, WI 54428.

St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a major funder for pediatric cancer research outside the US Government. More information on the St. Baldrick’s Foundation can be found on line at https://www.stbaldricks.org/
