Nellie Mae Debroux of Antigo died Wednesday, February 08, 2017 at her home in Antigo under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. She was 77 years old.

She was born January 14, 1940 in Shawano County, daughter of the late George and Alma (Johnson) McFarlane. She married John Debroux on June 29, 1957 in Shawano County’s Town of Morris. He survives and resides in Antigo.

Mrs. Debroux attended Polar Grade School. She was a homemaker, and resided in Lannon, West Bend, and Oxford before returning to the area to live in Antigo. She enjoyed yard work, gardening, and fishing.

In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Carrie Lazzaroni of West Bend; 2 sons, Gregory (Sheri) Debroux of North Fond du Lac and Jeff Debroux of Antigo; 4 grandchildren, Paul (Renea) Andrews, Adam (Tanya) Debroux , Michael Debroux, and Breanna Debroux; a great-grandson, Jayden; 2 brothers, Larry McFarlane of Bowler and Jerry “Mike” (Caroline) McFarlane of Combined Locks; a sister-in-law, Jean; and 3 brothers-in-law, Joe, Don, and Bob.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Daniel Debroux; 3 sisters, Pat Nelson, Shirley Hoffman, and Georgetta Ladwig; and 2 brothers, Don and Robert McFarlane.

In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held.
