Swiderski Equipment caters to busy Customer Appreciation Day crowd

A packed parking lot and equally full “dining area,” housed in the store’s one-year old new facility, demonstrated the support that Swiderski Equipment has from the Antigo area on the company’s Customer Appreciation Day held last week.

“This is really our chance to say thank you to all of our customers here. We want to provide [the community] with the best equipment and resources possible,” Swiderski’s marketing and human resources director, Melissa Heise, said last Wednesday.

The Swiderski company was founded over 90 years ago to help equip the agricultural and construction industry of Wisconsin. What began as a horse farmstead in Mosinee has grown over nearly a century into a premiere equipment company with five locations into Central Wisconsin, including Mosinee, Thorp, Wausau, Waupaca and Antigo.

Swiderski believes in helping its agricultural customers achieve the most precise techniques available with its equipment, making farming both more sustainable and more profitable.

The Customer Appreciation Day went well beyond the showcasing of new Swiderski equipment, on display outside of the company’s Antigo location on US Hwy 45 north of the city. In addition to enjoying a 20% off parts sale that lasted all last week, the appreciated customers in attendance were provided with chicken and pulled pork for lunch on the Wednesday event.

Addressing health and environmental concerns, not the typical Customer Appreciation Day attributes, were also available to participants. Owing to the company’s want of providing farmers and other customers with every resource they can obtain, Dennis Frame of Timber Ridge Consulting, since returned from the UW-Extension’s agricultural department, provided a speech highlighting environmental regulations that farmers may potentially face.

The Rural Health Administration was also on site, providing blood pressure testing for customers.

Even though the customer appreciation sale is now over, new customers are always welcome at Swiderski Equipment. The store is located at N4660 US Hwy 45 north of Antigo, just before Cty Hwy I.

Store hours are:

  • Monday through Friday: 7:30 AM to 5 PM
  • Saturday: 7:30 AM to 1 PM
  • Closed on Sunday
