Barbara A. Milbeck, 76, formerly of Eland, died Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Pride TLC, Weston under the care of her family and Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice Services.
She was born December 19, 1940 in Eland, the daughter of the late Stanely and Cecilia (Szutkowski) Stanke. On December 30, 1961, Barbara was united in marriage to Kenneth Milbeck in Eland. He preceded her in death on May 19, 2002.
Barbara was a cook for the Wittenberg Elementary School for many years until her retirement. She was a member of Holy Family-St. William Catholic Church and it’s Christian Mothers. Barbara enjoyed playing cards and the occasional trip to the casino.
Survivors include her children, Ken (Cyndy) Milbeck, Rib Mountain, Theresa (Greg) Nowacki, New Berlin, Kathy Milbeck, Weston, Patty (Andrew) Tikalsky, Kronenwetter and John Milbeck, Tennessee; 10 grandchildren, Katlyn (Brad), Kimber, Kyra, Mary, Lilly, Cameron, Daylen, Crystal, Leah and Ryan; one great granddaughter, Elyse; brothers, Richard Stanke and Bob (Ros) Stanke; sister, Delores (Richard) Thayer and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Barbara was preceded in death by one great grandson, Westin Joseph Cherek.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg. Interment will be in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery, Wittenberg.
