For the Antigo Times

A few Antigo Penguins Swim Club swimmers have continued to compete even after the end of the Antigo Penguin season. The following swimmers have continued with competitions: Ryan Zima, Heather Arlen, Tristin Arlen and Mya Burt.

Ryan Zima competed in Ashwaubenon on Feb. 12th. He joined the other three swimmers to compete in the Wisconsin Regional Championships, held Feb. 17-19 in Fond du Lac. The two meets resulted in more personal best times as well as Midwest Regional qualifications.

Mya Burt qualified for State in the 100Y Backstroke with a time of 1:20.59.

All four of the swimmers qualified and plan on competing at the Midwest Regionals, which will be held in Minneapolis, Minn. on March 25th and 26th.
