Margaret Elizabeth (Peg) Flamingo nee Rew, age 99 years joined her Lord on February 23, 3017, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Mike Flamingo, her daughter Beverly (Ron Sr.) Teubert and her grandson Antony Flamingo. Margaret will be missed by her son Michael (Cathy) Flamingo, daughters Vicki (David) Stone, Debbi (Jim) Richards, and Sherry (Larry) Resch along with 22 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Although we will greatly miss our Mother & Granny, we can rest in the knowledge that she is with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. Her biggest desire was to see her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren come to know Jesus Christ and grow in a relationship with Him as she did. We will see her again.

The family would like to thank her doctors and the Compassus hospice staff, whose gentle care enabled her to remain at home and pass away in the same home she was born into nearly a 100 years ago.

In her early years Margaret managed Fannie May Candy located in Janesville where she lived with her family 43 years. Margaret lived her life for her husband and children.

A celebration of life will be held on April 15, 2017 at the Matsche Center in Birnamwood, WI from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
