Warrant of the Week:

The Antigo Police Department holds an arrest warrant for Stephen M. Shields d.o.b. 07-10-82. Shields is charged with possession of methamphetamine, resisting arrest, bail jumping, and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked driver’s license.. Those with information on his whereabouts are urged to call the Antigo Police Department at (715) 627-6411 or Langlade County Crimestoppers at 715-627-NAIL (6245). Callers may remain anonymous. You can also view a list of all warrants at our website, www.antigo-city.org. With your cooperation we can continue to protect and serve the City of Antigo.

Locking Vehicles:

The Antigo Police Department would like to remind you to lock all vehicles that are not occupied. Once again there have been a series of thefts of personal belongings from vehicles that have been left unlocked in driveways and in garages. Please remember that even if your vehicle is in a garage, it can still be accessible if it is unlocked. If you park on the street, or in a parking lot, try and park in a busy area or under a street light if possible. Should your vehicle be entered, write down important information; i.e. missing items, possible times the entry was made, any possible suspects, and call the Police Department immediately.
