Mary V. Schneider, 90

Mary V. Schneider, of Pearson, died Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center. She was 90 years old. She was born on January 11, 1927 in Cato, Manitowoc County, a daughter of the late Rollin and Florence (Duggan) Piper. She married Clemens Anthony Schneider on September 30, 1947 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Maple Grove. He preceded her in death on March 19, 2008.

She graduated from East DePere High School in 1944.

Mary was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Pickerel.

She enjoyed embroidery and reading.

Survivors include a son, Bill (Diane) Schneider of Pearson; four daughters, Bette (Eugene) Knauer, Judy (Mike) Griffin, Jr., Kaye (Vernon) Pinter all of Plymouth and Audrey (Roman) Oldenburg of Howards Grove; 11 grandchildren, Mark, Heather, Jennifer, Michelle, Mark, Amanda, Matthew, Amber, Jacque, Milton and Casey; and 18 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a son, John William Schneider; a grandson, Anthony Pinter; two brothers, LeRoy Piper and Jerry Piper, sister and brother-in-law, Jeanette and Leo Pitzel; and brother-in-law, Kenny Schneider.

A funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Pickerel with Rev. Dave Zimmerman officiating. Burial will take place in Pearson Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass.
