Danial R. Meisner, 63, Wittenberg, died unexpectedly on Monday, May 29, 2017 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
He was born on June 12, 1953 in Tigerton, the son of the late Elmer and Erma (Arndt) Meisner.
On September 25, 1976, Danial was united in marriage to Kim Borchardt at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Wittenberg. She survives.
Danial farmed in the town of Germania, Shawano County, since 1977. He enjoyed fishing and deer hunting. Danial loved spending time with his family especially playing with his grandchildren.
Danial is survived by his wife, Kim of Wittenberg; three children, Amanda (Lucas) Boge of Bevent, Danial (Linda) Meisner of Wittenberg and Brigitte (Brian) Dugan of Brookfield; three grandchildren, Jenna and Stephanie Meisner and Madeline Dugan; three siblings, Patricia Johnson, Yvonne (Loren) Watter and Lee Meisner, all of Wittenberg and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg. Rev. Clifford Kessen will officiate. Interment will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Wittenberg. Visitation will be held on Friday from 9am until the time of service at the funeral home.
