Antigo Police Department Warrant of the Week

Warrant of the Week:

The Antigo Police Department holds an arrest warrant for Brady C. Mengel d.o.b. 08-01-91. Mengel is wanted for failing to appear in court on charges of possession of methamphetamine and felony bail jumping. Mengel’s last known address was 702 Deleglise Street. Those with information on his whereabouts are urged to call the Antigo Police Department at (715) 627-6411 or Langlade County Crimestoppers at 715-627-NAIL (6245). Callers may remain anonymous. You can also view a list of all our warrants at our website, www.antigo-city.org.

Speed Limit near Parks:

The Antigo Police Department urges drivers to obey the posted speed limit of fifteen miles per hour near parks and schools. A common misunderstanding is that the speed limit only drops near school zones when school is in session. The speed change also occurs near parks or recreational areas. The law states that the speed limit is fifteen miles per hour on any street, except a state trunk highway or connecting highway, within, contiguous to, or adjacent to a public park or recreation area when children are going to or from or are playing within such area.
