David A. Bryfczynski, 71
David Albert Bryfczynski, of Pelican Lake, died Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 71 years old.
David was born February 7, 1946 in Pulaski, son of the late Leo and Helen (nee Adamski) Bryfczynski. He married Karen Pannier on April 28, 1990 at Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Milwaukee.
He was a US Army veteran. He served in the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart.
David was raised in Pulaski, then spent many of his working years in Milwaukee where he was employed as a foundry worker, forklift mechanic, and auto environmental tester. He later moved to Pelican Lake, and worked as forklift mechanic at Crystal Finishing Systems.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, woodworking, and making Polish pancakes.
Survivors, in addition to his wife Karen Pannier of Pelican Lake, include a daughter, Dena (Joe) Citro; 3 sons, Rodney Michalski, Daniel Bryfczynski, and Douglas Bryfczynski; a sister, Barbara Banyai; and 13 grandchildren.
In accordance with David’s wishes, no services will be held.
