Grace Doemel, a longtime Langlade resident, died Thursday, June 29, 2017, at Our Special Family in Antigo under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. She was 94 years old. She was born on January 27, 1923, in Marinette, a daughter of Lawrence and Lumina (Jacques) Brazeau. She married Robert Doemel on February 15, 1941 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Langlade. He preceded her in death on December 1, 2008.

She was a graduate of White Lake High School with the class of 1940.

Mrs. Doemel was a lifelong member of St. Stanislaus and St. James Catholic Parish and the St. Zita Christian Mother’s Society.

She raised her family in Langlade and participated in their activities from their youth to the present time. Grace could frequently be found with her daughters around her at activities throughout the area.

She enjoyed reading, completing crossword puzzles and visiting with family and friends.

Survivors include eight daughters, Anne (Paul) Rauch, White Lake, Jeannie (Ron) Michalowski, Milwaukee, Kathy (Ron) Regnier, Green Bay, Patricia Listle, White Lake, Esther (Jody) Marohl, Green Bay, Susan (Daniel) Zupon, Antigo, Carol (Joe) Hoffman, Antigo, Lori (Dennis) Seis, Antigo; a daughter-in-law, Julie Doemel-Zahn, White Lake; 28 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; eleven great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Marie Sharkey, Green Bay; a brother, Edgar Brazeau, White Lake.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Margaret (Jim) Owen; a son, Gary Doemel; a grandson, Mathew Ramer; three sisters, Patricia Brazeau, Ethelyn Amburgy, Esther Beattie; two brothers, Victor and Lawrence Brazeau.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday July 3, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Langlade with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Burial will take place in Langlade Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at the Bradley Funeral Home and one hour prior to the services on Monday at the church. A parish wake service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
