Lillian Gladys Fronek, 87
Lillian was born on May 8, 1930 to the late Fred and Gladys (Llyod) Anstutz.
On September 8, 1948, she was united in marriage to Robert Fronek at the parsonage of the United Methodist Church in Antigo. He preceded her in death.
She attended Marsh Graded School and was a graduate of the Antigo High School class of 1948.
Lillian was a homemaker and operated a dairy farm and in most recent years crop farmed with her family.
She was a member of the Forestview Sewing Circle and also volunteered at the Langlade County Historical Society.
She was an avid gardener and reader, always keeping current with news events. She looked forward to her evening visit from her grand dog, Macy and always had a treat for her.
She was devoted to her family, having cared for her mother, Aunt Harriett and her husband. She dearly loved her family and so enjoyed her grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter Kathleen Fronek and her husband Bruce Kowalski of Thurmont, MD, 2 sons, Robert “Dale” (Nancy) Fronek of Antigo and Roger (Bonnie) Fronek of Oshkosh, 3 grandchildren, Marie Fronek and her husband Eric VanRamshorst, Matthew Fronek and Mary Lynn Fronek.
In addition to her husband and parents, Lillian was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Grace Franc and Olive Frazier, a brother Lloyd Anstutz and an infant brother.
Reverend Debbie Pimm will officiate. Interment will be in Bohemian National Cemetery in Antigo.
