Louise Gustafson, Mattoon, died Sunday, June 4th, 2017, at The Neighbors of Dunn County, Menomonie WI. She was 95 years old.
She was born on September 28, 1921 in Oakes, ND to Barbara and William Hansen.
On April 2, 1942 she married Perm Gustafson in Oakes, ND. She and Perm served in the ministry in the Church of the Nazarene as Pastor and wife from 1942-1981 in Viroqua, Forest Center, Milwaukee, Racine, Monroe, and Mattoon.
She enjoyed music, sewing and other crafts, and table games.
Survivors include two children, Gary (Kathy) Gustafson, Macon, IL, Carolyn Stamper, Menomonie. Four grandchildren: Derrick (Jenny), Mark (Lisa), Shawn (Jenifer), Jerod (Nicole). Eleven great-grandchildren: Megan (Tyler), Jacob, Haley, Tucker, Colin. Brett, Katelyn, Shelby (Neashy), Abigail, Christopher, Brenden. And four great great-grandchildren: Athena, Ares, Eden, Trenton
Preceded in death: Husband Perm, an infant son and daughter, son-in-law Mike, grandsons Craig and Chris, great grandson Jack.
The funeral service will be held at 11AM on Friday, June 9, 2017 at the Mattoon Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Travis Jackson will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, town of Hutchins, Shawano County. Visitation will be held on Friday from 9:30 until the time of service at the church.
