WIS 52 Improvements Planned in Langlade County

Work to improve approximately 3.5 miles of WIS 52 between Antigo and Lily is scheduled to begin as early as Wednesday, July 12.

Northeast Asphalt, Inc., is the prime contractor for the $680,000 project.

Crews will resurface WIS 52 between Kent Road and WIS 55. Improvements include three culvert replacements and one culvert extension.

All work is scheduled for completion by September 2017. The schedule is dependent on favorable weather conditions and construction progress.

Federal transportation funds will pay for 80 percent of the improvement project; the remaining 20 percent will be paid for with state transportation funds.
