Conrad C Fleischman, 75
Conrad C. Fleischman, of the town of Rolling, died Thursday, August 10, 2017 at home under the care of LeRoyer Hospice and his family. He was 75 years old. He was born on August 29, 1941 in Antigo, a son of Lorraine (Plautz) Fleischman of Mattoon and the late Conrad Fleischman Sr. He married Gladys Schisel on October 10, 1959 in Antigo. She preceded him in death on June 3, 1983. On December 2, 1983 he married Linda Volkmann Nordquist in Antigo and she survives.
He entered the United State Marine Corps at the age of 17 and served in the Military Police based at Camp Pendleton, California. He was discharged in 1960.
For many years Conrad drove a milk route for Schultz Creamery and later for Rick Now until retirement.
He was a certified gun safety instructor and a member of the National Rifle Association.
Conrad enjoyed caring for his horses, donkeys and dog bingo and was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. One of his hobbies included bottle feeding baby deer.
Survivors including his wife and mother are two sons, Rodney Fleischman and Jasmine Williams, Antigo, Michael (Merri-Ann) Fleischman, Antigo; a daughter, Stacy (Rick) Trzebiatowski, Antigo; four sisters, Darlene (Jim) Kondzela, Antigo, Sharon (Roger) Ingalls, Antigo, Audrey (Paul) Sikora, Antigo, Dawn (Dan) Packard, Antigo; two brothers, Darwin “Jim” Fleischman, Antigo, Robert (Denise) Fleischman, Antigo; 18 grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Choletta Fleischman of California.
In addition to his father and first wife, he was preceded in death by a son, David Fleischman, a daughter, Sonja Rector, two grandchildren Jerico and Leandra; two sisters, Kim Livermore, and Mary Lu (Roy) Lewis; a brother, Joseph in infancy.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday August 14, 2017, at 11 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Antigo veterans will conduct military rites following services at the church.
Visitation will be 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the Bradley Funeral Home and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Monday also at the funeral home.
A parish wake service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
