Kathryn Quartaro, of Lakewood, died Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was 68 years old. She was born on January 30, 1949 in Antigo, a daughter of Francis and Lena (Hatfield) Murray. She married Daniel Quartaro on January 21, 1967 at Our Lady of Humility Catholic Church, Zion, Illinois. He survives.

She raised her family on Long Island, New York and provided home health care.

Kathy moved to Lakewood in 1991 and was employed as a CNA at Nu Roc Nursing Home in Laona.

She was a member of the Anderson-Sather American Legion Post #524, auxillary – White Lake.

She enjoyed gardening, quilting, crocheting and was always busy.

Her greatest joy was her family.

Kathy is survived by her husband Daniel, two daughters, Angela (James) Jordan, Galax, Virginia, Lisa Kremer, Medford, New York; a son, Frank (Lyn) Quartaro, Antigo; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Michael (Eilene) Murray, White Lake; a sister, Melinda (Jon) Racine, Duluth, Minnesota.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017, at 4 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Wes Jedras, officiating.

Visitation will be Friday from 3 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
