Leo Florian Starzinski died Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Care Partners Assisted Living under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. He was 83 years old.

He was born March 8, 1934 in Wausau, son of the late Leo Florian Starzinski, Sr. and Sophie (Boruch) Starzinski. He married Donna Ninneman on June 30, 1956 in Wausau, and she preceded him in death on Dec. 2, 2011.

Mr. Starzinski was a graduate of Wausau High School. He was employed as a pulpwood logger.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Brenda (Rusty) Kettner of the Town of Texas, and Sarah (Richard) Kalkofen of Antigo; a son, Rodney Starzinski of Antigo; 4 grandchildren, Angela, Josh, Lance, and Larissa; 2 sisters, Stephanie and Janet; and a brother, Theodore.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Starzinski.

In accordance with Mr. Starzinski’s wishes, no formal service will take place. Inurnment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Wausau. Strasser-Roller Funeral Home is assisting the family.
