Boys & Girls Club Color Run/Walk begins next Saturday

The Bright Futures 5K Color Run/Walk is a unique experience focused less on speed and more on crazy color fun with friends and family. Color runners come from all different ages, shapes, sizes, and speeds; but everyone who participates will have a blast! Whether you are more of a casual morning walker or a competitive athlete, the 3.1 miles of The Bright Futures course will be the most memorable and colorful run of your life.

Our color run is family friendly, fun, affordable and 100% of the proceeds supports the healthy lifestyles programs at the Boys & Girls Club of Langlade County our mission is to enable all youth, especially those who need us most to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

This event will start at the Langlade County Fairgrounds and continuing on through some of Antigo’s neighborhoods and onto the Springbrook Trail and return at the Langlade County Fairgrounds. This is a fun run where you will get full of color by the end of the race. We suggest you wear white so your colors will really show up! Team registration is encouraged, but not necessary.

New this year:

  • 1 Mile Kids Run
  • Chip Timing
  • Prizes for most colorful team costume
  • Medals for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place for top overall male and female.
  • Stop by local business booth for healthy giveaways!

If you sign up as a team of 4 or more participants you receive a discount at registration. Only $20 per person. All Club members also register for half price. Late Registration is available 7:30am-8:30am on September 23rd before the race.

Packet pick-up and late registration:
9/22/17: 3:30pm – 5:30 pm in the Clover Room at the Langlade County Fairgrounds; 9/23/17: 7:30 am – 8:30 am at Langlade County Fairgrounds. 1 Mile Kids Run Starts at 8:30am, Zumba Warm Up at 8:45am, 5K Run/Walk starts at 9:00 am, Zumba Cool Down & Color Splash at 9:45am, with the award ceremony to follow.
