Christopher Donald Jozwiak, 43

Christopher D. Jozwiak, 43 of Hatley, died unexpectedly on Thursday, September 28, 2017.
Chris was born in Wausau on March 22, 1974, the son of the late Donald Jozwiak and Madonna (Pawlowski) Jozwiak, Hatley. He was a graduate of Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School. On March 19, 2011, Chris was united in marriage to Debra Meitzen at Peace Lutheran Church in Wausau. She survives.
Chris worked as a route manager for Janik Power Sweeping, and loved his job, working for his best friend, Randy Janikowski. He was a volunteer for the Hatley Fire Dept. and EMS. He enjoyed fishing, hunting coyote, turkey, and especially ducks. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Survivors include his wife, Deb, his mother, Madonna, his maternal grandmother, Florence Pawlowski, and paternal grandmother, Louella Jozwiak, all of Hatley; three brothers, Jayme (Tammy) Jozwiak, Dustin (Jenni) Jozwiak, and Kenneth (Nicole) Jozwiak, all of Hatley; three children, David (Chelsi) Sedo, Merrill, Patsy (Jesse) Artz, Kronenwetter, and Mykle Sedo of Wausau; grandchildren, Myles, Ethan, Lucas, and Alia; nieces and nephews, Brayden, Payton, Holly Noel, Grace Marie, and Raelynn Hope; brothers in law, Jon (Barb)Meitzen, Neenah, and Steve (Angel) Jannusch of Waupaca; his best friend, Randy (Carla) Janikowski; and many aunts, uncles and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Jozwiak.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4PM on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
