AHS Band works with WSMA judges, travels to Chippewa Falls this weekend

This past weekend the AHS Soundsport performed in Antigo and Merrill.  The band was able to work directly with WSMA judges on how to improve their show at both the Antigo and Merrill shows.

This weekend the band will be performing at Chippewa Falls on Saturday, October 7 at The Music Along the Chippewa Marching Competition.  On Sunday, the band will perform at UW-River Falls at the Rhythm by the River Competition.

The AHS Soundsport’s 2017 production is entitled Motion”less”.  The premise of the show is that sometimes throughout our lives we can be doing the same thing over and over whether it’s our jobs, school, or just going through the daily motion of life. But what would happen if we get stuck in the same pattern and eventually just start going through the motions – which turns our spirit and passion into stone?

The band will travel down to UW-Whitewater for the 2017 WSMA State Marching Band Championships Saturday, October 14.
