For the Antigo Times

CoVantage Credit Union of Antigo recently held a fundraising raffle to support the Boys and Girls Club of Langlade County. Credit Union employees sold raffle tickets for prizes of $5,000, $1,000, and $500, held a brat fry at Lakeside Grocery in June, and sold pies at Music in the Park in June. Proceeds totaled $11,168.32, surpassing the goal of $10,000. For the past fifteen years, CoVantage has sponsored a similar raffle aimed at benefiting a local non-profit group. Since 2000, the Credit Union’s annual raffles have raised over $146,000 for the Boys and Girls Club.

The drawing was held August 9th at the Antigo/Langlade County Chamber of Commerce Customer Appreciation Night. The winner of the $5,000 Grand Prize was Dan Peters Sr. of Keshena.
