James R. Lindner, 78

James R. Lindner, 78, of Antigo died on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Kenosha, WI to the late Harold and Lucille Lindner.
He graduated from Mary D. Bradford High in 1957 and attended Carthage College in Kenosha, WI.
Jim and Joan (Schuh) were united in marriage on June 29, 1963 in Kenosha, WI.
Jim served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked as an accountant for American Brass Company in Kenosha, WI, an auditor for the Navy at Great Lakes, IL and was an Internal Revenue Agent in Madison, WI. He purchased his father-in-law’s tax service in 1974 and moved to Antigo. Jim was also Broker Owner of Wolf River Realty until 2004. Jim loved working with all his clients during tax time and was so pleased the business will continue with his wife and daughter.
Jim is survived by his wife and four children; Deb Lindner of San Diego, CA, Mary Koss (Mike Peterson) of Antigo, WI, Tricia (Jason) Oveson of Reno, NV, Steve (Tosha) Lindner of Milwaukee, WI and five grandchildren; Stephanie (Derek) Bessert, Chelsey Spaeth, Mitchell Oveson, Jake and Elsa Lindner. He is further survived by his brother Robert (Debra) Lindner of Green Bay, WI and sister Mary (Ronald) Hartnell of Kenosha, WI.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by three brothers; Ronald, Buddy and Richard, two sisters; Donna Jutrzonka and Linda Hoecherl, and a granddaughter Molly Koss.
Jim was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed. With respect to Jim’s wishes, no service will be held.
