Immunization Clinic November 22nd 9am-4pm Langlade County Health Department, 1225 Langlade Road, Antigo. The immunization clinic is available to provide childhood immunizations & adult vaccinations. The vaccinations are FREE to children 2 months – 18 years of age if you have Medical Assistance or no insurance. Adult vaccinations are available some with a minimal fee or FREE if you have MC or MA. Free Thanksgiving Dinner November 23rd 11am-1pm St. Mary’s Corpus Christi Center, Tomahawk. Don’t be alone this Thanksgiving. Join with family, friends and neighbors for a free Thanksgiving meal with turkey and all the fixings. Those who cannot attend in the center can receive a delivered meal within the Tomahawk area by calling the St. Mary’s parish office at 715-453-2878 between 8am and 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Requests for meal delivery will be taken through noon Wednesday, Nov. 22.

Winter Wonderland November 24th-January 2nd 5-11pm Holtwood Campground, 400 Holtwood Way, Oconto. It’s time to take in all things twinkly! Each year the Oconto Holtwood Campground gets turned into a Winter Wonderland with over 150 trees decorated and sponsored by area businesses and organizations. The park is lite nightly from 5-11pm. Christmas in Minocqua November 25th 1-5pm Downtown Minocqua. Santa has made his list, checked it twice and everyone in the Minocqua area is nice! Santa and Mrs. Claus will make a loop around downtown Minocqua on a horse-drawn wagon before arriving at Gaslight Square. They will make the loop down main street (Oneida) to Park Avenue and then north on Flambeau Street, to Front Street and back down Oneida Street waving to the good people of the area, before unloading Santa’s sack of treats provided by local merchants. The pair will visit with children at the Gaslight Square Shoppes from 1:00 pm until 4:00 p.m. Bring your camera to take pictures of your child with Santa. Children’s crafts and activities will also be happening at the Square. At 4:30 p.m. Santa and Mrs. Claus will lead the way to Veterans Park for carols and the official lighting of the Christmas display at approximately 5:00 p.m. Enjoy the decorations downtown, take a horse-drawn wagon ride, visit Santa’s reindeer at the Minocqua Museum and nibble on warm roasted chestnuts while doing your holiday shopping at the numerous unique stores on the Island.
