Winter Wonderland November 24^th-January 2^nd 5-11pm Holtwood Campground, 400 Holtwood Way, Oconto. It’s time to take in all things twinkly!  Each year the Oconto Holtwood Campground gets turned into a Winter Wonderland with over 150 trees decorated and sponsored by area businesses and organizations. Annual Chili Cook-Off December 6^th 8am-5:30pm Downtown Antigo along Fifth Avenue. Antigo/Langlade County Chamber presents its Annual Chili Cook-off. Teams will compete in either the roughneck division or traditional division. Chili samples will be handed out starting at 5:30pm. During the chili cook-off, the Antigo Optimist Club will be selling deep fried cheese curds at the corner of Clermont & 5th Ave. Salvation Army volunteers will also be baking and serving chocolate chip cookies all day at the same corner. Antigo Christmas Parade December 6^th 6:30pm Downtown Antigo along 5th Avenue. If you are looking for Christmas spirit, this is the place to go! The Antigo/Langlade County Chamber of Commerce, Antigo Optimist & Kiwanis Club will host Antigo’s Christmas parade! Businesses, organizations & individuals are encouraged to participate by entering a float. This year’s theme is Christmas Future. Parade floats must be ready for judging at 5:30pm. Prizes will be awarded in three categories. You can also join thousands of spectators along 5th Avenue for this great holiday tradition! The parade is filled with the sights & sounds of the holiday season. This amazing holiday parade features more than 40 floats with lights, sights, & sounds of Christmas! Entries by area businesses and organizations, the Antigo High School Marching Band, the American Legion Color Guard, the arrival of Santa, and more!
