Alice Margaret Hable, 87

Alice Margaret Hable, 87, formerly of Birnamwood, died on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Rennes Health and Rehab Center Weston.
She was born on June 4, 1930, in the Town of Texas, the daughter of the late Alexander and Ella (Deininger) Edenhofer.
On June 25, 1952, Alice was united in marriage to Jacob Hable, Sr. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Wausau. He preceded her in death on April 9, 2003.
Alice was a 1949 graduate of Wausau High School. She had been employed by General Telephone Company and various stores in Wausau. After marriage, the couple farmed in the Town of Aniwa. She had been a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Aniwa and the Christian Mother’s Society but had most recently became a member of St. Philomena Catholic Church, Birnamwood. Alice enjoyed reading, gardening, sewing, and spending time with her family. Alice also worked at the Trinity Lutheran Pre-school as a pre-school teaching assistant, Birnamwood, at Super Valu, and Eastview Medical and Rehab Center, both of Anitgo.
Survivors include her children, Susan (Randy) Patnode of Wausau, Michael (Sandra) Hable of Birnamwood, Jacob (Gail) Hable Jr. of Ringle, David (Denise) Hable of Mosinee, Thomas Hable of Birnamwood, Dennis (Mary) Hable of Wausau, Lawrence (Laura) Hable of Birnamwood, Gary Hable of Wausau, Carol (Thomas) Nitschke of DeForest, Janice (Jim) Steebs of Eland, and Richard Hable of Wausau; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and siblings, Eleanor Cole of Stoughton, MA and Marion Schroers of Weston.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband, parents; two granddaughters, Tracie and Rachel Hable; one great-grandchild, Alexis Colip; brothers, Raymond, Donald, and Alvin (her twin), and sister, Doris Garcia.
A Private Family visitation and private Mass will be held at St. Philomena Catholic Church, Birnamwood. Fr. Anthony Ibekwe will officiate. A private family Interment will be in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, Aniwa.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Alice’s name be made to St. Boniface Catholic Church, Aniwa.
Pall bearers are Matthew Hable, Jonathon Hable, Benjamin Hable, Andrew Hable, Nicholas Gajewski, and Joshua Falkowski.
