From the Langlade County Forestry Department

Notice for Snowmobilers and ATVers

All public snowmobile trails in Langlade County will be open effective at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018.

Trails in the wooded northern and eastern parts of the county should be in good condition.  Trails in the southern part of the County, which cross plowed fields, will be in fair condition with some rough areas due to lack of snow cover. Caution and reduced speed is advised in these areas.  Expect early season riding conditions throughout the trail system.

Zone A snowmobile trails will be open to ATV’s on Sunday, January 28, 2018.  Zone B snowmobile trails will be open to ATV’s on Tuesday, February 6, 2018.  Please consult the 2017-2018 snowmobile map as the sections have changed.  A link to the map is located at www.langladecounty.org

ATV’s are not allowed on snowmobile trails when the temperature is above 28° F.

UTV’s are not allowed on the Langlade County Snowmobile trail system.
