Joe Pregler and Qwan Bussey’s boys returned to the mats Saturday, January 6th after a 2 1/2 week holiday break. The team had a first, two seconds and four thirds among the nine Robin wrestlers participating.

Alex Schlieve continued his strong season taking first by going 3-0 with 2 wins by pinfall.

Devin Breitenfeldt and Sam Bretl both finished 2-1 taking second place. Breitenfeldt also had a pin.

Jordan Dykstra, Colton Breitenfeldt, and Robby Hagerty all started slow losing their first 2 matches before coming back with dominating pins to finish 1-2 and take third place. Also taking third was Danny Livermore who finished 1-2.

Despite strong efforts, neither Trevor Locke or Hunter Cordova were able to place. Brady Vandeweerd was unable to wrestle due to injury.

Next up for the Middle School Grapplers is a scramble meet hosted by DC Everest on Tuesday 1/9.
