Warrant of the Week:

The Antigo Police Department holds an arrest warrant for Wayne A. Tullberg d.o.b. 04-12-68. The warrant is for failing to pay a fine on a charge of operating a motorcycle without a license. Those with information on his whereabouts are urged to call the Antigo Police Department at (715) 627-6411, submit a tip at www.p3tips.com or on the P3 app on your device. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.

Move Over Law

The Police Department would like to remind all drivers about the “Move Over Law” that helps protect emergency responders and maintenance workers on the sides of our streets and highways. In Wisconsin, along with several other states, if you are operating on any type of roadway and you approach a fire truck, ambulance, squad car, tow truck, utility vehicle, or any other highway maintenance vehicle with its flashing emergency or warning lights on, you are required to move into the other lane or significantly slow your vehicle. The going rate if you are issued a citation for the violation is approximately $250. The entire law can be found under Wisconsin state statute 346.072.
