Wrestlers from Antigo and Witt-Birn Compete at State


A pair of Great Northern Conference wrestlers faced each other twice at the WIAA State Individual Wrestling Meet at the Kohl Center in Madison. Wittenberg-Birnamwood’s Chad Moegenburg (left) faces Durand’s Brannon Humphrey in a Division 3 113-pound match Feb. 22 at the WIAA State Individual Wrestling Meet at the Kohl Center. Moegenburg handed Humphrey a 5-2 loss and won matches over Fennimore’s Mason Lull and Boyceville’s Walker Retz to earn a spot in the championship match. However, Moegenburg’s season ended with a 16-6 loss to Coleman’s Koltin Grzybowski. Greg Seubert Photo
