A ribbon cutting was held on February 23, 2018 at the new location for CARE Timebank in Antigo. This CARE Timebank was established in 2016. Timebanks was first started by Edgar Cahn in the 1990’s. He believed all people deserve to be treated equally for their knowledge, talent or skills. Timebanks gives opportunities for a person of any age to be able to earn hours for things they need done.  Families can stretch their budgets by volunteering or offering their services while earning hours for something they or their family members need done. The more people that join CARE Timebank the more variety of talents to be shared!

Services or help offered:  re-upholstering furniture, de-cluttering, mowing, tutoring, gardening, running errands, help with showering/cleaning and more.

Potlucks are held at the Antigo Public Library on the first Monday of the month from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

CARE Timebank is located at 813 5th Avenue, Suite 3, Antigo. Their hours are Monday and Thursday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. For more information, call 715-610-0339 or visit their website, care.timebanks.org.
