Wilma Jean Luther, of Omro, died Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. She was 69 years old. She was born on May 15, 1948, in Antigo, a daughter of Patrick and Mary (Knipp) Powell. She was married to Robert Luther, Sr. 1967 in St. Matthew Lutheran Church in White Lake. The couple later divorced.

She was a graduate of Antigo High School in 1965.

Jean was a consultant for many home based businesses over the years. Her main joy in life was taking care of her seven children and many grandchildren.

Survivors include three daughters,Jenny (Rodney) Kolpack of Bryant, Melissa Luther and Todd Schultz of Wausau/Deerbrook, Annie (Mark) Luther-Clements of Melrose; four sons, Robert Luther, Jr. of Omro, Patrick Luther of White Lake, Martin Luther of Marathon, Luke (Paula) Luther of Omro; grandchildren, Grace, Ian, Derek (Jennifer), Seth, Naomi; Jacob (Danille), Joshua; Cayd; Josh, Hannah, Kayannah, Ellianna, Wesley; Jordan, Brandon, Samantha; 11 great-grandchildren; six sisters, Maxine (Paul) Meyer of Woodville, Yvonne Poland of Antigo, Mary Copps of Ogema, Thelma Paulson of Antigo, Barbara (Earl) Roberts of Tomah, Patricia Schulz of Antigo; two brothers, Jack (Penny) Powell of Bryant, Pierre Powell of Antigo; sister in law, Virginia Powell of Antigo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her four brothers, Thomas, Charles, Patrick and Richard Powell.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, Bowler.

Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to the time of services.
